The Family Behind Dreamcatcher Ranch Vacation Home California Wine Country

At Dreamcatcher Ranch we offer a retreat in the true sense of the word - a place to go to that is quiet and secluded.

A place where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and be present. A place where families can gather, send time together, and make memories that last a lifetime.  Although the ranch is very private and secluded on it’s 20 acres of land, it is minutes from Solvang, Buellton and Downtown Lompoc where there are restaurants, shopping and grocery stores.  And of course, too many tasting rooms and wineries to count.  The land is magical. And it was built because of a dream. We hope that our guests who come stay will be able to dream here too.

Dreamcatcher Ranch was a dream of ours for over a decade.

We are a blended family of 8 with children from ages 3-19.  We have always dreamed of owning a place in Central Coast wine country to enjoy with our family for generations to come. We had spent time in Central Coast wine country for vacation as a family each year. We actually made it a tradition that with each new baby of ours we’d make a wine tasting trip to the valley.

Owning a home was something that we knew we wanted, but we thought it was a few years away from happening. We visited a few properties to get an idea of what we wanted when we were ready to purchase a home. Two nights before we left we found a home for sale off of Cebada Canyon in the Santa Rita Hills for sale. What struck us immediately was the size of the home and the size of the pool. We had to see it. So the day before we left after staying in the valley for two weeks, we set eyes on our dream home. Two days later an offer was made and accepted!  And we embarked on the process of remodeling the home, the pool, and building out “The Hideaway,” our guest house.
